If you use Postana for a company, store, employer, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

In that situation, “you” includes both you and that organization.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account.

Accounts may be created by Postana or by an authorized administrator. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping login credentials confidential
  • All activity performed through your account
  • Securing devices that access Postana
  • Ensuring only authorized people use the account
  • Informing us promptly about suspected unauthorized access

You may not share an individual account in a way that bypasses access controls or account limits.

We may suspend access while investigating suspected unauthorized activity or security risks.

A business account may have one or more administrators.

Administrators may be able to:

  • Invite or remove users
  • Assign roles
  • View Business Data
  • Change store settings
  • Restrict access
  • Request account closure
  • Take other actions on behalf of the business

If your account is controlled by a business, that business may control your access and the information associated with your work.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use Postana only for lawful business purposes.

You must not:

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary.

6. Business Data

6.1 Ownership

As between you and Postana, you retain ownership of the Business Data and content you submit to the Service.

6.2 Permission to operate the Service

You grant Postana a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise use Business Data only as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the Service
  • Synchronize information
  • Generate reports
  • Provide support
  • Prevent fraud and abuse
  • Maintain security
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve the reliability of the Service

This licence continues only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service and meet legitimate legal or operational requirements.

6.3 Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy of Business Data
  • Ensuring that Business Data is collected lawfully
  • Obtaining necessary permissions from customers, staff, and other individuals
  • Maintaining records required by law
  • Correcting inaccurate records
  • Limiting access to authorized users
  • Maintaining any backups your business requires

Postana does not verify whether your products, prices, taxes, expenses, inventory records, customer details, or reports are accurate.

7. Customer and Personal Information

When you enter information about customers, employees, suppliers, or other individuals, you confirm that:

  • You have a lawful reason to collect and use it
  • You have provided any notices required by law
  • You will use it only for lawful purposes
  • You will respond appropriately to requests concerning that information
  • You will not enter unnecessary sensitive information into fields not designed for it

You are responsible for your relationship with those individuals and your compliance with applicable privacy laws.

8. Product Images and Content

You retain ownership of images and content you upload.

You confirm that:

  • You own the content or have permission to use it
  • The content does not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights
  • The content is not unlawful, deceptive, harmful, or malicious

We may remove content or restrict access when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or applicable law.

9. Offline Use and Synchronization

Postana may store information locally so that parts of the Service work without an internet connection.

You understand that:

  • Unsynchronized data may exist only on one device
  • Removing the app may remove local data
  • Resetting the local database may permanently remove local information
  • Device loss, damage, operating-system failure, or storage corruption may cause data loss
  • Changes made on different devices may conflict
  • Some features require an internet connection
  • Synchronization may be delayed or interrupted
  • A successful local action does not always mean server synchronization has completed

You are responsible for verifying important records and allowing synchronization to complete.

10. Inventory, Financial and Business Records

Postana is a record-keeping and business-management tool.

It is not:

  • Accounting advice
  • Tax advice
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice
  • An audited bookkeeping system

  • Taxes
  • Sales records
  • Customer balances
  • Exported reports

You should obtain professional advice where appropriate.

Compatibility is not guaranteed for every:

  • Firmware version
  • Paper size
  • Device
  • Operating system
  • Bluetooth implementation
  • Network configuration

Printing may fail because of factors outside Postana’s control, including connection loss, battery level, permission settings, hardware faults, firmware, operating-system restrictions, or unsupported command formats.

You are responsible for verifying printed receipts and maintaining suitable operational procedures.

Postana may depend on or integrate with third-party products, including:

  • Hosting providers

Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice of significant changes.

Before charging you, we will provide applicable information about:

  • Price

You will not be charged merely because future paid features are mentioned in these Terms.

16. Intellectual Property

Postana and its licensors own all rights in the Service other than your Business Data, including:

  • Software
  • Source code
  • Application design
  • Logos
  • Brand names
  • Graphics
  • Documentation
  • Databases and system structures
  • Features and functionality

These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended business purpose.

They do not transfer ownership of Postana or its intellectual property to you.

17. Feedback

You may provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Postana.

You grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided that we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe:

  • You violated these Terms

  • The Service is discontinued

Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

You may stop using Postana at any time.

Termination does not remove obligations that arose before termination. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and other provisions intended to survive will remain effective.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Postana is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

This section does not apply where a claim resulted from Postana’s own unlawful conduct.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and Postana agree to make a reasonable attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other party.

Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts of Pakistan.

We may notify you of material changes through the Service, website, email, or another appropriate method.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

24. General Terms

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain effective.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our permission. We may transfer these Terms as part of a restructuring, acquisition, sale, or transfer of the Service.
